Our accommodation office offers advice and support on finding accommodation and any accommodation issues. For more information and a listing of accommodation providers, see the link below.

Wexford Campus is located in close proximity to large residential areas in Wexford town, as a result our students can access accommodation within walking distance of the campus. The most popular way to find accommodation is through accommodation websites. Accommodation may also be found through local auctioneers and in local newspapers. Student Supports

IT Carlow offers a number of access programmes for students with disabilities through its Access Office and student support service.

The Disability Access Route to Education (DARE) aims to improve access to college for school-leavers with a disability or specific learning difficulty by allocating a number of third-level places to them on a reduced points basis.

The Carlow Access Programme is an admissions scheme through the CAO which offers reduced points places plus a financial scholarship to:

  • Applicants from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds
  • Applicants who are first generation learners, where there is a family tradition of early school leaving
  • Applicants who have parents (or in the case of mature students) who work in low paid unskilled work or are dependant on social welfare in the long term
  • Applicants who are lone parents or from lone-parent families
  • Applicants who are from an ethnic minority group
  • Applicants who are currently in care or who are care leavers

If you have any questions, please visit our Live Q&A session from 10am – 5pm on Friday 11th and Monday 14th September.
